This was a great place for our group of 10. Hard to find such a large place in Tokyo. We were very comfortable. Only hiccup was the WiFi wasn’t working and the portable WiFi was very slow. Great location and easy to get to the subway.

Oct 2017

We had a great vacation and really enjoyed our the home. Located in a high end and quite area, after a short walk to the subway- anywhere in the city was a short train ride away. 7-11 and 24 hour grocery a short walk away. Plenty of room for our group and more bathrooms then most rentals you will find in Tokyo. The only small downside was the WiFi would slow down when everyone was trying to use it at the same time. Still a great rental, 5 stars!

Tomoko was very responsive with the many questions that I had before booking. She made me feel confident that everything would be in order for my stay. After booking, she sent super detailed instructions on how to get to the house from the airport. Everything was very clean when I arrived.

One room is very spacious with an en suite bathroom. The rest are fairly small, but comfortable. There are actually 2 sets of washer/dryers; one in the upstairs bathroom and one in the kitchen. The one in the kitchen was bigger and seemed to work better. There was ample eating and living space for all 11 of us in our party.

The area around the house is very clean and safe. Very convenient to the subway. Close to a 7-11. And there are plenty of eating options nearby (near the park). I would definitely stay here again!

May 2017

Tomoko was an excellent host and my group of 9 people were happy with the
house. The house looked to be well taken care of and was close to a train
station. Nearby, there were a few grocery stores, a 7-Eleven (good bentos
there and takuhaibin--luggage delivery service) and restaurants.

Inside the house, the bedrooms were tidy and each had their own air
conditioning unit. There were also 2 laundry machines which was convenient
for our large group. Note that the upstairs dryer works faster than the
downstairs combined washer/dryer. In Japan, the norm is to only dry
partially and hang up clothes so expect machine drying to take longer than
in a North American dryer. The kitchen was also well stocked and there was
a large eating area. The sofas were also very comfortable in the living
room. The house is large for a Japanese house but average compared to a
North American home.

We were fortunate to meet Tomoko during our stay and he gave us helpful
directions and advice. Overall, we had a great experience and would be
happy to return to his rental house.

I recently stayed at Tomoko's house at Minami-Aoyama. The house was more than what I expected. The photos were not deceiving. The house was able to fit my large group comfortably. The location was perfect and close to practically everything walking distance and by train. The grocery store was also very close. I would definitely stay at this house again. Thank you!
