About this property

A zen beach cottage with vaulted ceilings, neutral coastal decor, beautiful sunlight, natural wood, large yard, plenty of parking, grill, outdoor shower. Beautiful Long Sands beach is just a 5 minute walk to the end of the street close to bathhouse and snack bar. You can hear the ocean from the screened-in porch (that sleeps two!) or while sunning on the deck. Two large screen smart TV’s, washer/dryer, wifi. A short walk to Long Sands restaurants and surf shop. Nearby attractions include the Nubble lighthouse, short sands beach, restaurants and arcade entertainment, candy store, wild animal farm and boutique shops. A short drive to Ogunquit’s Marginal Way and Perkins Cove. We are new owners and are putting in a new kitchen before the season starts (stay tuned for pictures). This is a great place to create lasting memories. We know you will love it as much as we do! Available May through September 2024. Reduced rates May and September. Discounts for multiple weeks.

Our family purchased our dream cottage in 2023. We had been vacationing in York for nearly 20 years and have always wanted to own our own place. We love this cottage just 3 blocks from beautiful Long Sands beach and so close to the bath house and snack bar!

Why they chose this property

I just love the sunrise over the Nubble lighthouse, walking on Long Sands beach, getting shaved ice in Short Sands and relaxing with my toes in the surf.

What makes this property unique

Our cottage has peaceful energy. We fell in love at first sight. It was built in the 1940s and is a year-round cottage - just a few minutes walk to the beack. We have redecorated, updated the decor, are working on landscaping (I'm a flower gardener!) and will have a renovated kitchen by the summer. We're sure you will love this place and want to come back as much as we do.
