About the host
Hosted by Traci Quebbeman
As Hosts, we give you your privacy. If you desire interaction, we enjoy meeting new people, whether at arm's length through booking communication or meeting face to face for a "sit on the patio," a glass of wine, or a walk around our gardens or neighborhood. We enjoy helping our guests and all visitors make the most out of their stay in scenic Sedona, offering knowledgeable tips on hiking, dining, shopping, and even where to find the vortexes.
We love Sedona, great friends, good music, great food & drink, and cats. We enjoy hiking Sedona's trails, which changed our lives. Indeed, we were married on the summit of Bear Mountain! When we need a change in scenery, it’s typically within Arizona or a short trip to Utah, Nevada, or Southern California, with the Pacific Ocean. Desert, mountains, and ocean, who doesn’t love a good mix?! We are middle-aged Systems Engineers, clean and tidy, with an unquenchable hunger for travel. We love painting, cooking, hiking, and gardening.

Sedona West I & II is a neighborhood that has a fascinating history. It was established in 1960 on land that was once the site of John Wayne's "old west" Republic Pictures movie lot, which operated there from 1946-1959. Before that, it was a ranch owned by local homesteader Jay Cook, and in even earlier times, it was untouched wilderness.
Javelina Manor is situated in a tranquil part of this neighborhood, conveniently close to some of Sedona's most incredible hiking and mountain biking trails. From the Casita's front, you can take in the breathtaking views of Sugarloaf Mountain, Coffee Pot Rock, and Capital Butte in the Thunder Mountain range. Additionally, everything you could need is just a short walk away, from supermarkets like Basha's to eateries serving Mexican and Indian cuisine, hot yoga studios, Whole Foods, Walgreens, Goodwill, Harkins Movie Theater, and much more.
Moreover, our neighborhood boasts a private connection to the Sugarloaf Trail system, making it easy for residents to access this beautiful area. It's also just a brief drive away from Airport Mesa, where you can indulge in some scenic hiking, savor some delicious fare at Mesa Grille, or enjoy the stunning mountain vistas or aircraft flying overhead. You might even spot a famous person while you're there!
